Water filter housings are available for both point of entry (POE) and point of use (POU) systems. Standard sizes include 10"x2.5", 20"x2.5", 10"x4.5", and 20"x4.5". We carry standard size housings (housings are rated by the nominal size of a water filter cartridge that it can use).

Smaller housings such those using 10"x2.5" cartridges are usually installed at point of use such as under sink or in line. They and cartridges that go with them can only provide limited flow. All other , larger housings, can be installed as a point of entry , such as a home water main , or for light commercial applications. The bigger filters that go into these will provide larger filtration capacity and will accommodate higher water flow.
